ACEN 08
I am FINALLY at ACEN in Chicago - well technically I am at a Super-8 in River Grove, but like ore deposits and cave-ins, those are miner details. HA! pun. did you see it?
ahh. Okay. I will hopefully write up something on this later, but it's been an odd start to the weekend. I will say that Speed Racer was actually VERY good. I should not have enjoyed it nearly as much as I did, since that was the anime that pretty much kept me from watching anything until Pokemon came about - except I did watch Dirty Pair and one if the Lupin's... How I ever got ahold of it, I will never know.
OK. Now that the internet is restored, I have to go out and get foods at the store and go to the actual con. Looks like the first panel I am interested in starts at... what 4? yeesh. That's only a few hours from now! I haven't been to the dealer's room yet! ack - I gotta go...

Next year

If I DON'T make staff, and you guys make it, the Super 8 here is really close to the hotel and there's a Dominick's (which I now have a discount card for) and the people and rooms are really nice. Ne, Sarabi? The housekeeper keeps leaving me chocolates!!!!! Imma have to tip now, aren't I? aaaaagh!
